The Financial Services Department is comprised of 3 divisions: Administration, Accounting and Revenue Enhancement, and Utility Billing. The department provides debt management, cash management, accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and utility billing.
Responsibilities
Finance is responsible for the coordination of all financial activities of the city by acting as liaison to the public, and to administrative and department officials. Significant accomplishments include the prestigious Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) for the past 33 years.
Accounting
The Accounting and Revenue Enhancement division handles payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bill payments, liens, commercial sanitation, false alarm billing, trash transfer and
Business Tax (formerly occupational licenses). The Accounting division also provides a convenient
online bill payment system.
Utility Billing
Utility billing consists of charges for the municipal services of water, sewer, storm water, sanitation and utility tax. The utility bills are mailed out on a monthly basis. For inquiries regarding your water or sanitation bill, go to
