The Showcase provides an opportunity for Miramar’s students to showcase their creativity and talent in the visual and performing arts. Students present performing arts selections in dance, spoken work, voice, mimes, music and musical theater pieces. Visual art pieces are also submitted for display.
Designed to strengthen MCC’s relationship with the school system in support of the Arts and Education opportunities, the Miramar Student Showcase, offers students and schools an opportunity to showcase amongst their peer schools; and has established itself as a premier night out for schools utilizing state of the art equipment to showcase the best of the Community.
Participating schools in 2023 include Miramar High, Everglades High, New Renaissance Middle, Glades Middle, Saint Bartholomew Catholic, Annabel C. Perry PK-8, Somerset Academy Miramar, Coral Cove Elementary, Dolphin Bay Elementary, Silver Lakes Elementary and Sunshine Elementary. Added to the evening’s presentation were guest performances by students from Dillard Center for the Arts.
