Welcome to the Office of the City Manager. We are proud to provide the services and resources that you depend on to live, work and play in the beautiful City of Miramar. Here in the Office of the City Manager, we are responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of services, including recommending and carrying out the policies and ordinances of the City Commission. It is the responsibility of this Office to advise the Commission on the City's financial condition and to submit the annual operating and capital improvement program budgets to them. This Office provides effective communication between the City Commission, employees, residents and the general public and oversees the management of all City departments. This is done, in keeping with our commitment to the ongoing implementation of best practices in all City operations.
Miramar has the unique distinction of being one of the fastest growing and most diverse communities in the nation. Over the years, it has dealt with many challenges, but overcame them through collaboration, finding common ground amongst various stakeholders and seeking inclusiveness for all parties.
As a City, we are on the cusp of even greater opportunities and results, with major capital projects such as the Police Headquarters at Miramar Town Center, the Amphitheater at Miramar Regional Park, the Band Shell at Shirley Branca Park and several other projects in different stages of design and construction. All this will enable our residents and visitors to celebrate the milestones and rich culture of our City.
It is our belief that our City’s greatest attribute comes from our diverse residents with different points of view believing in one City. As such, we continue to work to establish collaboration, find consensus and achieve inclusiveness to become the best Miramar possible.
